Building healthier families through unhurried, relationship-centered chiropractic care.
“Whether I’m caring for a pregnant mom, a growing child, an active athlete, or someone looking to stay healthy and mobile as they age, my goal is the same: to help people feel their best and continue doing the things they love.” - Dr. Michelle
Our Story
Mountain Roots Family Chiropractic was born from a lifelong connection to an active, outdoor lifestyle and a passion for helping people live the lives they love. Dr. Michelle grew up ski racing in Colorado, where multiple injuries introduced her to chiropractic care and sparked an interest in the profession. She went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.
After chiropractic school, Dr. Michelle supported her husband’s career in the U.S. Navy, moving throughout the US, before eventually settling in Bozeman, Montana. Coming back to the mountains felt like returning to her roots. Today, their family enjoys rock climbing, skiing, backpacking, hiking, and mountain biking together with friends and family.
Dr. Michelle’s approach to chiropractic care is personal and thorough. She wants every patient to feel understood, cared for, and genuinely supported in their health and life goals. Appointments are intentionally unhurried, allowing time to listen, address the whole person, and provide care that is both valuable and results focused.
Dr. Michelle has specialized training in pregnancy and pediatric care, including the Webster Technique certification. Dr. Michelle also has a deep passion for neurobehavioral disorders of childhood and has completed hundreds of hours of education in functional neurology. Dr. Michelle’s care goes beyond the chiropractic adjustment and incorporates a variety of hands-on techniques, including soft tissue and myofascial work, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, and cupping. She also includes brain-based therapies to many of her treatment plans.
